Re: 1N60 germanium diode replacement
Yes it works. I will use the 1n60 as soon as they arrive and try to hear what it changes.

TM3 calibration
I followed the steps and never found anything about TM3 value. TM4 is 130mV in the noise section TM2 and TM1 set two periods in the cymball TM3 just sits there ? Did i miss something ? :?: Also, handclap is muted (maracas is not) for the moment but I will try first what I found on other threads, &qu...

Re: OH NO!!! Krisbo has Yocto Issues :,-(
Replaced the 4011 with a 4011BE I picked up from Jaycar and away it went! Thanks for the tip :D . With a 4K7 resistor at R127 I still didn't have 130mV in the noise section and the snare sounded weak. I've replaced it with 1K and I could get up to 110mV. It's a bit snappier now but I'd like to go a...

Re: r 151 accent resistor burns
Same here, it works on first try, but R151 is smelly and black now, and if I turn accent knob up it lowers master volume
I think I am from the last batch but mine says 4011BE
the sound of the rest is great

Re: 1N60 germanium diode replacement
Same here, I broke two germanium diodes on the high tom when trying to desolder them.
According to the basic DIY principle the first thing I break is kind of hard to find. Can I put a 1N4148 or any easy to find diode, just for the moment to continue building before I receive the 1n60 ?

Re: 30V on power board

ok
it's DC coming out, not AC so I got exactly 15.4 and 5.1 and 14.7
everything is fine

30V on power board
I ve checked all the components, and their orientation. C3 is 680/50 instead os 680/35 I read on the forum it was ok. I use a netgear adapter which reads 15VAC 1A. When I measure ACV between GND and 15V I get 31.4 and between GND and 5V I read 10.4. I used two different multimeters. If I plug 12VAC ...
