No worries Ikke, I didn't have time to do the mod since your post anyway, so I take advantage of this thread to get more info

Re: is there anyway we can make Hi-hat sound louder?
I Changed R162 (33K Resistor) to 10K Resistor ! My closed HiHat sounds a bit lower than all other instruments and I also intend to increase its gain. I was about to lower the value of R172* (1k output resistor) as I was advised in an other thread, but it doesn't seem to be the right way. metel909, ...

Unless you already know this TR-808 resource site, you might be interested in this complete free sample pack : http://smd-records.com/tr808/?page_id=14

Re: Hihat and cymbal not sounding as they should
It should be a tuning problem. It had the same issue, Cymball and HiHats sounded lower in tuning than Yocto samples and original TR808 samples, even if adjustment of TM1 and TM2 looked ok on my scope. I found this thread on the forum : http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=202&a...

Re: Only the right half works...
Maybe just check that ClosedHH is not muting OpenHH decay by being on the same (actived) step in the sequencer.

Re: HiHat section issue ?
Thanks Ikke
So, I was thinking about replacing R169 and R172 with trimmers, this way I can adjust the volume more easily. Any infos about doing this, as trimmer has 3 leads and resistor 2 leads ?
Also which value of trimmer should I take ?

Re: HiHat section issue ?
Thanks ElSchtroumpf for your reply ! I actually didn't know that the Yocto / Tr-808 could emulate the real Hihats by combining Open and Closed Hihat in the sequencer, this sounds logical, but I thought all the instruments, Hihats included, were independent from each other. so, sorry for my ignorance...

HiHat section issue ?
I recently finished my build and noticed something weird about the Hihat section, but actually don't know if it's normal or not. At first, both closed and open Hihats outputs worked perfectly then after testing and playing with the sequencer I noticed that Open Hihats had a problem with its decay. I...
