Re: Is Vincent still here?

I'm wondering the same. My Yocto build is on a standstill and I haven't gotten an answer on how to proceed.

Maybe Vincent is having a summer holiday. He's deserved it but I really hope he shows up again.

Re: Problem tuning cymbal - no square wave from R44*

I figured out how to ground my scope (I'm not using the sound card scope but a USb scope) and got both square waves sorted out. Had to change out both R44* and R45* though. I'm probably stating the obvious but have you checked this thread? http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=...

Re: Problem tuning cymbal - no square wave from R44*

Hi Gyuunduh, Are you grounding your scope to pin 7 of U1? I had a similar problem and it was due to not grounding the scope properly. On previous tests I have had it grounded to the main ground connector GND that has a direct connection to pin 7 of U1. That way I have gotten the correct waveform fr...

Re: Problem tuning cymbal - no square wave from R44*

I noticed the period in your first screenshot is much shorter than your second. I just tried tuning TM1* & TM2* and I get a strong 50Hz wave along with the square wave on both R44* and R45*. Could you check if you have the same problem on R44*? You need a time window of more than 20ms to see th...

Problem tuning cymbal - no square wave from R44*

Everything on the Cymbal is soldered and it's time for tuning. Unfortunately I don't get a square wave from R44* The wave looks like this http://i.imgur.com/hlcYCod.jpg As you can see the oscilloscope threshold is really low compared to the setting on R45 (pic below), and what I'm actually seeing me...

Problem when assembling HandClap - R379 burning- SOLVED

Everything has been fine and voltages correct when I've been assembling my Yocto, but now I've met my first problem when soldering the handclap together: I've soldered the resistors, trimmer, diodes, capacitators, and transistors. When I connect the power for testing the voltages as shown on the ass...

Questions that come across your mind when assembling Yocto

I'm at the beginning my project, gathering together the components for the power supply from the bags in the kit. It seems that I can't find the electrolytic capacitator C3 as there is no electrolytic cap marked 680/35. However there is one marked 680 µf 50 V and it seems that it is not used in any ...
