CB, CY, OH, CH gone dead

My Yocto2 was working great until I lost CB, CY, OH and CH. They're triggering, I can hear a faint click and adjusting the delay on the OH does fade it out. I can't spot any bad solder joints or burnt components. This previous topic (http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1610) t...

Re: How to burn Yocto v2.0 firmware with an Arduino

It may still be in bootlooader mode. Don't copy the code I provided, as various file locations will be different. Copy the code from your own Arduino log window and add the correct filename for the Yocto firmware. When you enter the command in the terminal window, you'll get a bunch of data back aga...

How to burn Yocto v2.0 firmware with an Arduino

The Yocto 2 does not seem to want to be reprogrammed by sysex, so here's a way to do it with an Arduino. You can do this without pulling the Yocto from the case or removing the chip thanks to the on-board ICSP interface. First, follow these instructions to load in a bootloader. You do have to use th...

Re: Official Yocto² Firmware

You basically have to go to the command line. I'll start another thread tonight with the whole procedure and link it here.

Edit: Done!

Re: Official Yocto² Firmware

I ended up reflashing using an Arduino - it wasn't very difficult but you do need to use the old 1.0.6 IDE instead of a newer one.

Re: Data Encoder not working

I can confirm that the v2.003beta firmware solved this problem for me. Before that, I tried reflashing both v2.003 and v2.002 without success. Thanks for the fix! I reflashed the chip using an Arduino, following the instructions in this thread: http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&am...

Re: Official Yocto² Firmware

Hey guys! New builder here and it's come together without much fuss. But I've got the encoder problem and MIDI cables, so I'd love to use sysex to reload. I've got an Arduino kicking around somewhere but I'd rather do it this way if possible. Is there a way to put the AVMega into bootloader mode usi...
