Re: Yocto v2.0

I see a lot of empty pot and switch markings on the PCB, will there be mods integrated like on the Cocteau for the v.1?

Re: Resistor Percentages/ratings %'s...

There are no set tolerances in the BOM, and if you look in the build guide Vincent used all kinds of resistors for his Nava. I ordered 5% carbon film for all the resistors, with exception of the 15x 5k/10k/20k/40k/80k/160k in the hihat and cymbals, where I used 1% film. I also used 40k2 and 80k6 res...

Re: 5 Wire for Power Supply

Definitely solder them in place. I tinned both exposed ends and soldered the part that went into the connector terminal. The Molex terminals from the mouser BOM have a solder tray in the middle for this exact purpose.

Re: Alternative Capacitors "Tantalum" in Bass & Tom Circuits

Had a look at the 909 schematics and it seems you've got all the tantalum caps in your list. Thanks for taking the trouble! As for the electrolytics, most Roland gear from the eighties uses Nichicon caps, so you can't go wrong with the Nichicon UFG series. I actually used them for all the electrolyt...

Re: Nava v1.0 metal Box [WAITING LIST]

I received my box today and I'm very happy with the result. Like stated earlier, the creamy color is spot on. For those that are interested, I can also confirm that the profile is exactly the same as the enclosures from my group buy. I had already ordered wooden sides from guihaume and they fit perf...

Re: Nava v1.0 metal Box [WAITING LIST]

Pictures are up now. I'm sure HappyMum has a ton of work going through the list and getting everyone's info sorted out, so some patience is advised. To clarify a few things : will we be sent an invoice and/or a paypal request? Also that last line of the email I received, about the demand being great...
