Allthough the forum seems to be quite abandoned I want to share, that a faulty 14006 IC caused the problems mentioned above. Noise is now working properly :D Unfortunately most of those supplied with the kit are bad. I had 2 out of 10 working. A bit late finishing my build (been sitting i the shelf...

You need to put a 2SC828 with a hFE of at least 300. Anyone who can tell me how to know that (hFE=300) when you're buying? I tried a bag of 20 2SC828 from ebay, but the highest score I got was 281... :? In case someone's interested: I got me 50 2SC828 from eBay and the second one I measured had hFE...

Sorry folks! My electronics skills aren’t obviously very good. I started thinking about how the PSU works and realized it needs AC not DC I had by old habit just connected a standard dc adapter....

PSU: No -15V [SOLVED]
Hi all, I’ve started the build of the Yocto2 and followed the build guide. My problem is I don’t get the -15V from the output of the PSU as described (and not from the output pin of the 7915 either). Does anyone have any suggestion what could be wrong? BTW the input voltage has to be higher than 15V...
