How do I test voices during building, and how do I check sec

From the build guide: Yocto2 firmware allow you to test each voices during building process. A jumper on pins 1-2 of Test _mode header set the CPU in Voice test mode. In this mode a trig pulse is sent every second to all voices. Do all of the wires between IO and Main board need to be connected to d...

Re: On/Off Switch

I think what it comes down to is 'unshunt' j9 and solder the switch to the board there. you have to wire it yourself though cause the switch clicks in the case (at least in erica's synths one) and not on the pcb Yes I guess so, there are three connections on the switch and 2 on J9 so that is throwi...

Building voices using Nava build guide?

I'm at step 4 in the Yocto2 assembly guide where it suggests for non-experts to build each voice section separately to allow each section to be tested as you go, which is how I would like to do it. The guide says 'refer to the Nava building guide' for this, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take...

Re: On/Off Switch

I am just starting but I was wondering the same thing. I shunted j9 for now because I couldn't figure it out.

@lukep_gdansk thanks for sharing the photos but I am still not clear where the switch is connecting to? It looks like you have it wired to somewhere else on the board

Re: BEWARE -Pharmasonic member took our money and disappear

I tried to contact someone from that website a few months ago about midi retrofit kits they had for sale on an auction site. I got the following automated response (translated from japanese): Due to serious health problems, all orders were very delayed. We sincerely apologize to all our customers si...

Re: Build finished but overall tuning off

Sorry I can't really help, but I listened to you clips and I do hear the snare isn't as snappy as in the youtube Yocto2 demo video. The hi hat sounds okay to me though and I didn't notice a pitch difference in either of them.

Re: Too low (and decreasing) voltage when testing U24

For TM4 I could not find the 22K Ohm B type trimpot in the mouser BOM which I bought, but found a 25K Ohm (lin/log not specified) which fits with the Yocto1 build (http://www.e-licktronic.com/en/content/36-noise), so I used that. I see you solved this, but I checked this against the table I made an...
