Pull out the ANxxxx IC and see if the handclap sounds the same. I am dealing with a similar problem at the moment. Some users report getting sent bunk IC's with the kit. I requested new ones, but they arrived damaged and wit hthe same date code. Ill try and post a pic of the date code on mine later ...

Mine was a stupid mistake (wish they all were) and i had flipped two wires that connected the boards. If you follow the schematic, it is a really simple circuit that goes back to the controller thru a transistor.

Fixed Trig 1, but still no luck on being able to change midi notes. can anyone confirm how to do it and that they are able to?

When probing Trig 1, it looks like this?

any ideas before i start probing around?
For midi out, I am sending triggers, but the shift+guide button does not get me to the page to alter the note values. Thoughts?
