Does anyone know if the new TR-08 circular knobs would fit on the Yocto?
Was thinking of getting in touch with Roland spares and see if they had any in stock as I know the original 808 tempo knob is too big for the Yocto screenprint.

Re: Film-Capacitor in Noise Section
It's in the Mouser BOM, under quantity of 7. Mouser No: 80-MMK5183J63J01L4 "Film Capacitors 63volts 0.018uF 5% LS 5mm" C33 is 18n = 18nf 18nf is also displayed as 0.018uF. Although the packaging is different the capacitor has the same depth (5mm) so should fit the space without any problems.

Re: Capacitor in PSU wrong?
You shouldn't have a problem using a higher rated capacitor. Ideally in this case I would try and get hold of the 1uf 50v capacitor though. Rule of thumb for replacing capacitors: Never lower the voltage (unless if the voltage on the cap is far higher than the power line like your post) Only increas...

Re: Capacitor in PSU wrong?
Hey, I am just sort all Parts from the Mouser Bom... Probably a beginner question :) The Building Guide says in the Powersupply that i need 1 680uf 35v capacitor... But in the BOM is a 680uf 25v capacitor. Can i use it anyway or would it be better to get a 35v version? thanks in advance! Sascha The...

Re: Yocto vs Yocto2
For me it was the look was nearer to the original.FlavioB wrote:Hi ppl!
Why are so many ppl still wanting a Yocto (v1) kit?
What are the real differences between v1 and v2?
Why should (or should not) sell v1 to get a v2?
Thanks,

Yocto V1 - Alternate Enclosure - Roland Replica
There is a guy on Facebook called Savage Electronics who created what looks to me like the best 808 case. Unfortunately it was a one off and he doesn't appear to sell them. It's a replica of the original 808 with a layered graphic over the top panel with all the details. I was wondering if anyone ha...
