Re: The RNZ suffix of the 2SC828
Thanks for the update. In part one I said that a perfect clone isn’t possible without a 2SC828-R NZ. All of the testing that I have done since writing part 1 of this article has however shown me that getting close enough is definitely possible with the right 2SC945P. The next step is to use a 2SC828...

Re: Maracas and BD Level
There's a post about matching output levels on the Yocto v1: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=414&p=2613&hilit=cowbell#p2613
Maybe could be applied on the Yocto v2?

Re: Accent issue - BD, SD, Toms, RM, HC & CB [SOLVED]
You're welcome. I'm glad it's all working now.
Good find on fixing the traces from the MCU to IC3. I burnt out a trace in the noise circuit, swapping out the trimmer to get 130mV. It's easy done.

Re: Accent issue - BD, SD, Toms, RM, HC & CB [SOLVED]
First make sure the MCP4822 TP1 is providing +13V. Then, using this part of the schematic for the accent: https://i.imgur.com/J7aUHwSh.jpg These two are from the MCU pins 20 & 21: INH_MUX1 INH_MUX2 So, something is causing them to read incorrectly. I would start there and ensure the MCU socket i...

Re: Noise problem
Replacing U24 with a TL072 and changing TM4 for a 100k got it to 130mV RMS. I could only get it to 160mV with the 4558 and the 100k trimmer.
