Re: voltage @ noise module

Hello you all, As promised I am updating the post to followup on my tests. Even by doing what Masuto suggested in his guide I only came as close as a 240mVAC reading on my multimeter. So I went ahead and wrote Vincent about it. Here is my mail to him: Hi Vincent, thanks for reaching out to me on thi...

Re: voltage @ noise module

I am posting all the info I've collected so far on this issue for other folks who may meet the same problem I have met. Here in summary is the situation: Many people (see posts in http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=155 ) have found issues with using the trimmer to reach the 1...

Re: voltage @ noise module

Hi Italo, I finally found the section in the forum that specifically addresses the problem of the voltage on pin1 so I'll read it more carefully and follow the instructions on it. It can be found at http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=155 or http://www.e-licktronic.com/forum/v...

Re: voltage @ noise module

just make the changes as in the service manual at point 5 page 15. this will make the adjustment range larger i did the same .no problem to get the 130mv. Thank you for the advice Italo. A few questions to your answer: is it normal to see the values I see? Is it not an indication that somewhere I d...

Re: voltage @ noise module

I checked all the polarities and values for the other components (caps&resistors) I had put on the main board as per instruction assembly sheet and it all looks good.

Re: voltage @ noise module

I looked into the voltage drop @Pin4 and @Pin8 of U24 and traced it back all the way to the power supply via +B5 e -B5. The voltage drop occurs when I plug the U24 in. By removing the U24 the voltage @Pin4 and @Pin 8 returned at the supply voltage. Is this normal that the U24 and the noise circuit d...

Re: voltage @ noise module

Update: checked components one more time. Found and corrected one mistake where (I must be becoming color blind) put in a 4.7K resistor instead of the correct 47K one for R127. Ran the test again at pin 1 of the U24. Reading improved but still way off. Working the trimmer results in between 310mVAC ...

Re: voltage @ noise module

e-Lictronics assembly guide is not wrong :D is based on the original Roland tr 808 project and you can use service manual like in tr 808 ;) you can mood yocto like 808 is 99% the same thing if you have questions write to Vincent from elictronics ( send mesage from the side elictronics ) Thank you B...

Re: voltage @ noise module

did you changed r131 to 100k and put 10uf 35v electrolytic cap in R127 from Roland service manual ? try this maybe will help ;) Hi Bedroom, I followed the instructions in the Yocto assembly guide. You are suggesting to use different values than those indicated in the e-licktronic guide? Is that wha...
