Thank you! With another powersupply most of the hum is gone.
There is still some humming depending on the position of cútoff and envelope potentiometers....not a psu problem any more..

1. Fit the lcd from the component side if you plan to use the glass. Otherwise fit from the solder side if you plan to omit the glass. I use double sided tape for fitting the glass. 2. I use a larger sized .1uf cap like a green myler from Tayda/eBay then solder a 1/8w 1Mohm resistor in parallel. I then form the leads of the cap to make it fit the foot print. Nice and neat and will not compromise space.
