Re: Masuto's tips on Yocto 2 board?
Yes. The analogue parts are both direct clones of the 808 so these mods will work on the V2 Yocoto. I done this to my V1, ensure to experiment, record and analyse each change.

Re: SOLVED - Master output overdriven on startup
I swapped out the 2 2SC2878(B) in the muting circuit, these came with the kit, with a pair of 2SC2878(A) and now it is clean from start up.

Re: SOLVED/Mod - PC-2 Decay range
No problem. I couldn't bring myself to pass it on to its owner without working the issue out.

Re: SOLVED - PC-2 Decay range
Change R9 to 47k and R10 to 820K. Keep C7 as 2.2uF. It became a bit of a play off between trig interference from the other instruments so I lowered R10 from 1.5M to 820k which gives a good pot range, minimal interference with a nice snappy decay through to extra long.

Re: PC-2 Decay range
Today I spent some time working on this and trying to get a better range with the pot with no success except finding that increasing C7 extends the decay - without effecting the range of the pot. I went with 10uf for now, its extra long but still snappy at fccw, still with a short range its not grea...

SOLVED - Master output overdriven on startup
I'm experiencing an overdriven master output on starting up the unit before it fades away after a few seconds and becomes clean. This is not experienced on the individual outputs. I've swapped out the opamp and confirmed correct parts still all the same. Any thoughts?

SOLVED/Mod - PC-2 Decay range
The range of the decay pot seems to be at max by 12 o'clock. I see one other user mention this in another topic and am wondering if this has been experienced by anyone else? I presume the decay times can be modified but its the range concerning me most. All parts have been correctly identified inclu...

Re: PC-2 causing instruments to trigger
I had a grounding issue on the main board, where the previous builder had tried to desolder the PSU header damaging the +12v trace to the rail and also the ground. I'm not sure how I missed this as I had already repaired the +12v trace when starting work and must have confirmed continuity to the gro...
