Re: Dinsync slave problems
Thanks for the reply. I had intended to use it as a slave. Am I required to rewire it to do so? Edit: I'm slowly realising that it's not designed this way. I had assumed that since Yocto supports dinsync slave that Nava would too. Is there any plan to introduce this or is it not supported due to the...

Dinsync slave problems
My finished Nava came home with me today for testing and was connected to the dinsync out of my MC-202. It's in slave mode, but doesn't respond when I start the 202. The 202 clocks all my other Roland gear perfectly. Tried different cables. Edit: I've also clocked other gear off the Nava in Master m...

Re: NAVA ENCLOSURE - new design
I've finished my build and I'm just assembling my kit now. What kind of adhesive would I use to join one of the standoffs back on to the case? Two standoffs (top left and right) are a little off-center, and one broke off. The other seems to be threaded badly as the screw won't go all the way in. Hav...

Re: COCTEAU!!!! (mod PCB for your YOCTO 808 clone)
Still only half finished my Nava and building it since January..
But I just put my name on the list for a v1, Cocteau kit and Kacper enclosure.
I think I'll grab a v2 as well when the time comes.

ESD - the silent killer
Hi, everyone. Just writing to gauge the level of care people take when working with ESD-sensitive devices. Electrostatic discharge can wreck your ICs. I used to think it was OK to just avoid wearing woolly jumpers while working with sensitive components. Recently, I have learnt that there does not h...

Re: UK PSU
I found it difficult to find a UK/Ireland/EU supplier with an AC/AC PSU that was rated greater than 600mA.
I have been using a 600mA one during the build for test purposes.
Thank you for this information.

Re: NAVA ENCLOSURE - new design
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am working on my Nava during lunch hour in my desk job, so it will be another few weeks before I need a case, but I can understand the frustration of others with completed units, possibly for resale. The communication could be a lot better.
