Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
No rush in this! I also haven't yet had time to proceed :-( So you're suggesting that I can backup via SysEx with the actual firmware - right? But then, restoring on your firmware could lead to errors - right? So, do you think there's maybe a way to just play the saved patterns and record MIDI on a...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Hey man! I never got to install the new firmware version, but now I am ready and the first question arises in advance. You instruct to erase the EEPROM before installing your firmware version. This clears all patterns. Is there any way to backup the patterns in advance, then restore them after the ...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Note numbers for midi pattern change mode are the same as in the 2021 Neuromancer firmware: Pattern change in Slave Mode: Bank A-H: note 61-68 (C#4-G#4) Pattern 1-16: note 72-87 (C5-D#6) I was thinking, would it make more sense to change Patterns to 71-86? So both banks and patterns start from a C#?...

Re: TUTO: How to burn Yocto v1.0 Bootloader with an ArduinoISP
I know I come extremely late to this party, or actually I built a functioning Yocto since long ago. However I have no memory of ever burning this bootloader. What does this actually mean? Is this an instruction on how to do if I was to buy a new CPU? Or is it an instruction on how to make it possibl...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Regarding Play Modes; in general I though that if you stop in Track Mode you probably want to start on a bar and not exactly where you stopped. Since we don't handle Song Position Pointer (no plan to implement, seems very complicated with variable step length), it will probably be good slaved to ano...

Re: Oortone 2024 alternative firmware for Nava
Great, thanks.
The Start/Stop button logic is no rush. I will not fix that for the first beta, otherwise most things are falling into place and seems to work. Will probably make a proper beta release in the next few weeks.
