I went by the build guide and used .01uf cap for C66, C69, C79, and C163.

My snare sounds fine...i think..

Update for BD:

I checked over all components value. I did find C89 had wrong value, so I replaced it.

Unfortunately did not change anything - same problem. Excessive noise & distortion on BD.

So now I have new problems. BD is extremely loud and distorts unless i put it at around 1/4 level. BD attack does not do anything other than add a slight click sound. Did you remove the plastic from the header pins before soldering? I had left mine on and my LCD had no connection with the plastic on the header pins. I had to de-solder the LCD and remove the plastic, then re-solder in the pins one by one.
